Repentance

How you deal with your sin defines you. Repentance is a recognition of sin for what it is, followed by a heart-felt sorrow, culminating in a change of behavior. This three-part process changes you at every level of your being--in your mind, your emotions, and your will. When we choose to sin, we choose to suffer. No amount of thoughtful obedience can cover our sin. No amount of spiritual desire can erase sin's effects until we deal with it God's way. Repentance says, I'm turning around.
