The Genius of Jesus

"It is essential to the human being to find knowledge on which to base life," says Dr. Willard, and he argues that the present-day University is defective in this regard because it fails to take seriously the moral and religious life of the student. In this talk, Dr. Willard posits that there are four "Great Questions of Existence"—What is the nature of Reality, What is the Good Life, Who is a Good Person, and How does one become a Good Person. The University, however, fails to answer these questions by framing life in only a materialistic paradigm. Ultimately, Dr. Willard explains how Jesus of Nazareth has been such a force in history by providing answers to these questions and providing a basis for life in which all the aspirations of the human heart can be realized.
